Understanding Our Coaching Approach

Life and relationship coaching supports individuals or couples handle challenges in relationships and other areas of life.

A coach enables you to gain clarity, build self-awareness, and develop confidence for positive life and relationship changes.

Please note that I work exclusively with individuals because I believe that meaningful change begins with the self.

Coaching is a forward-focused, results-oriented process. It takes you from where you are now to where you want to go.

Therapy and counselling often focus on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. They also explore past experiences.

Coaching is not a substitute for therapy but can complement it.

During our coaching sessions, we will discuss your current situation and unpack what has been going on for you, identifying any obstacles and limiting beliefs. As your coach, I’ll be asking you insightful questions, based on the information that you’re willing to share and at your own pace. You are in the driver’s seat!

We will then explore action steps and strategies to overcome obstacles together.

The duration of the coaching process varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some clients may achieve their objectives in a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing coaching over several months.

Coaching will be conducted online on WhatsApp or Google Meet, depending on your preference and the coach’s availability. Both offer flexibility and convenience, especially for clients with busy schedules or those living in different locations.

Coaching helps you to reconnect with yourself by deepening your self-awareness and focusing on your personal growth. You will gain clarity, understand your own needs and values and make empowered decisions in your relationships.

The insights and tools you develop through this process create lasting change in your interactions and connections with others. Coaching enhances your communication skills, emotional resilience and goal-decision making within a supportive environment.

  • To get the most out of our sessions, it’s important to focus on active listening.
  • I recommend creating a distraction-free space and coming fully prepared to engage in our conversation.
  • Make sure you have your laptop, device, or pen and paper for note-taking.

Sometimes, minimizing visual distractions can help you concentrate better and absorb your insights more effectively. This will help you fully engage and capture important insights during our time together.

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of the coaching relationship.

I adhere to the strictest levels of confidentiality as outlined by the ICF, (International Coaching Federation) ethical guidelines to ensure that your personal information and discussions remain private.

  • All information, including details, situationships, or unavailable partners, is kept confidential.
  • Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality with all client information unless release is required by law.
  • Have a clear agreement about how coaching information will be exchanged among coach and client.
  • Have a clear agreement when acting as a coach, with client about the conditions under which confidentiality may not be maintained (e.g., illegal activity, pursuant to valid court order or subpoena; imminent or likely risk of danger to self or to others; etc) and make sure voluntarily and knowingly agree in writing to that limit of confidentiality. Where I reasonably believe that because one of the above circumstances is applicable, I may need to inform appropriate authorities.
  • Require all those who work with me in support of my clients to adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics
  • Following Confidentiality and Privacy Standards, and any other sections of the Code of Ethics that might be applicable.

This agreement is ongoing until it is cancelled by either you or us.

24 hrs notice is required to cancel or reschedule a coaching session. If cancellation is made with less than 24 hrs notice, the session will still be charged in full.

I support women in complex relationship dynamics, including affairs, situationships, and relationships with married partners.

Through coaching, you’ll gain clarity and shift the patterns keeping you stuck in unfulfilling or stagnant relationships.

While I don’t go into detail about my own story, I bring personal insight and lived experience to this work.

I understand how emotionally complex it can feel to love someone who isn’t fully available.

My role is to hold space for your clarity and healing. I meet you there with compassion, because I’ve known what it’s like.
